What is “MAX”?
“MAX” stands for “Multi-Age eXperience” where students learn and explore with other-aged students sharing skills, background experience, and talents.
The MAXclass is a learning community of 39 fourth- & fifth-graders at Port Orange Elementary. Lead by Mr. Miller and Ms. Cady, our students are encouraged in personal and social growth as well as developing self-motivating and self-directed learning.
Wrapping up the year with a bit of panning for gold. Every class says this is one of their favorite simulations!
